| Just 7yrs old, was never futuritied due to divorce and personal issues...now has a permanent injury will never be sound to barrel race, but is pasture sound/trail sound. Bred FWF on the dams side. Own daughter of DTF. I'm debating on making an offer to these people but I don't want to insult them , but I have no idea what she's worth. I see his stud fee is $8500 I think. |

| Most like you describe that actually sell are in the $10K range. Sometimes up to $15K if they are bred real nice. People selling start at $20k but they dont sell for that as a broodmare thats done nothing.

Location: Desert Land | Lots of variables - age, maternal bloodlines/performance/progeny, open/in foal, maiden/producer, etc.
I have bought DTF daughters for $2,500 - $5,000 but they were open and older. If I am looking to buy one and am not looking for one that was a performer or producer I expect to pay $12-15k open.

Location: Illinois | Would depend on the bottom side, how close the FWF is. I saw a barely broke 3 year old daughter with FWF on bottom listed for over $25,000 the other day on facebook and it had many serious people inquiring. A friend owns a 3 year old stud colt by him, out of a FWF mare and he sold for $27,000 as a 2 year old unbroke. Then another friend bought a 20 year old DTF, I believe sun frost on bottom if I remember correctly, but she only paid $7,000 for her and she is only light riding sound. I think pricing fluctuates a lot with DTF offspring. But at 7 even not being sound I would still expect to be around $10K or over, she's got plenty of baby making years left. And DTF/FWF cross is desirable to a lot of people |
