I have been bed rest since tuesdays 6th chemo. White blood count low..it's NOT selfish to take care of yourself..it's selfish when you don't. Then your no good to anyone... feeling better this Saturday. Morning still weak...I burned my hand 2nd drgreee..cooked for live for the fullest crew after barrel race Saturday.. shrimp, corn on cob, sausage, potatoes boil, pan tilted when I lifted it in car 400 degree liquid over top my hand.. rest is good for the body and soul...take time for yourself..it's OK!

I'm sorry you are going through all of this.I keep trying to let a family member know that she really needs to put herself first right now.She has been sick for two months and just had most of her pancreas removed.Shes so depressed it's heartbreaking.She is still in Cleveland clinic,and has at least three more weeks to go.thanks for posting,I sure hope your hand heals quickly,and you feel better soon.
