I am looking for a recommendation on solar lighting for my outside practice area.  It is not a full size arena by any means, but large enough that i can handle all of my slow work & exercises at home without having to haul somewhere.  I currently have 400w metal halide dusk-to-dawn lights from the local electric company that supply all of the lighting I need.  However, they are costing me $62 a month!  I am looking at investing in higher-end, good solar lights that would provide the illumination I need.  Any suggestions or advice?  Thanks!!

Home Depot has some that are pretty decent. It won't be lit up like arena lights, but you could mount a few on posts to at least be able to see what you are doing. Those security lights are a rip off IMO. I have LED 50 watt lights off each end of my barn and they would be more than enough to light up a round pen. I have a 400 watt LED light mounted near the top of my 2 story barndomineum and it lights up 2 acres or more well enough to see to ride (and run) at night. The LED lights are the bomb and use very little electricity. My electrician talked me into spending more for LED lights and I am so glad I listened.
