| I am debating doing a few 5 year old futurities with my PC Joes Frost X Lone Drifter daughter. She is loping through, increasing speeds slowly but I am in no rush. |

She is coming along, a little too smart for her own good sometimes. She is kind of a know it all so I work barrels but not super consistently or she thinks she knows more than me. We do a lot of barrel type drills without working the pattern so the fundamentals are there without her getting too smart. |

Location: Texas | I have a 2016 Jesses Double Dee filly out of Fiery Contender. She is broke, has a great handle, and is trotting around the barrels. Unfortunately she broke her splint bone so I did surgery on her last Friday. So she will end up being a hair behind than what I would like her to be at, but we will catch up. And if we don't enter futurities until the spring or summer of her 4YO year I'll be fine with it. |

And for 2020 I have a Tres Seis x Stoli, and 2 by my FG son and out of Tres Seis and Dash Ta Fame mares that did well for me at futurities themselves. TS daughter is loping a nice pattern and the other 2 are being ranched on. Will be started on barrels this winter later. |

| 2015 late bloomer, so hoping for some 2020 futurities, plus I live where we have Winter and Summer (**** climate change). Fall and Spring are no longer available!
Blondie is broke. She is trotting the poles and barrel pattern and is being hauled. Will fully pattern next summer. Greats on papers - Streakin Six, Pat Cowan by Sun Frost, Dash for Cash. |

This filly is very well put together and athletic enough to make it. Hopefully she has the will between her ear too |

Location: Smack Dab in the Middle | Unless plans change, 2020 will be my rookie futurity attempt with a Firewater Finale.
He's behind, I got him on his way to nice and broke (first ride in early August) and sent him home for a short break since it's too muddy to ride anyway. But he's so smart and easy that I'm trying to stay optimistic that we can stay on track. I'll start him on the pattern in February, and haul and exh him all summer; goal is BFA in OKC, and whatever else the owner chooses in our surrounding states. Arizona futurities is a bit out of my reach... |

Location: Illinois | Mine unfortunately has turned out to be way too fragile minded to get to futurity. I was maybe hoping for 5 year old year, but as it's October now and she's trotting the pattern I'm going to say it won't happen. The woman I purchased her from when she was 3 intended to futurity her as a 4 year old and decided she was too fragile and needed another year. I attribute my failure to a lot of time missed on her, I had so many things come up this year that I haven't had time to be consistent. However her little brother is making his debut in the 4 year olds coming up, so I'm going to live my futurity time vicariously through him lol. He's by DTF and out of an Alive N Firen daughter, Lance Graves has him and will be campaigning him for the owner. I've been keeping tabs on this stud colt for a long time now. He's got potential to be so nice and a nice future stud prospect. Anyway, I hope all of you have success with your futurity colts that you have up & coming and I will keep living vicariously through you all!! Every one listed here so far has great potential!!! |

| Not a designer barrel baby, but my 2020 hopeful is a grand daughter of TNT Money Bars out of a mare by The Ole Man.
TNT Money Bars is the sire to Jimmy Bryants nice horse Little Bit of Cowboy.
So far, she has proven to be very smart and curious. Nothing really phases her. She is riding well, and I am hoping to start working the pattern in December once we refine some of her riding skills. I know I am probably a little behind. This will be my first attempt at futurity. We may not even make it to enter, but I will try my best. |

Location: SW MO | I am thinking of making my rookie debut into the futurity world with a colt I recently bought. She is a 2014 baby, thankfully there are a few 5 and under futurities in my area. She is straight up cow bred. Shes galloping the pattern and tracking the roping dummy. One of the most efficient and talented horses I have ever sat on. |

Thanks! She is a really cool mare. Never had a rope swung on her and we took her to the branding pen and she acted like she has been doing it for years. Pulled the tough calf on her a few months ago and she put her head down and just pulled that sucker. She is one of those that likes to come up everyday with a new scratch or puncture wound in places you don't know how she found. :) |

Location: So. Cali. | I'm messing with the idea of doing 5yr old futurities on a filly I picked up off the track earlier this year. Trying to take my time as she's bred to be a fire cracker
https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/amapola+red+hot
And I had always planned to futurity my second home grown filly as a 4yr old (2020) but I'm not currently ontrack for that.... hopefully getting her started under saddle in November...so she may be a 2021 futurity horse as a 5yr old

Location: Oakdale, CA | well I'm planning on running my 2018 futurity hopeful in 2019........he is by BJO out of an own daughter of OTMR. He is out of the same dam as my alltime favorite mare (who is lame)................he has been quite the challenge. I must have the only tough BJO around............ then I have a futurity colt for 2019 gelding by Judge Cash out of a own daughter of Leaving memories... He is lightly started on the pattern and I hope to enter him in some late futurities.............. |
