| I'm in southwestern VA and we were choppin silage the last couple weeks in the hot sun/80s and 90s but now we had to build a fire last night and it was in the 40s! I was at TSC today and got our chickies some things for winter because it's getting colder earlier than I thought..hearing it's gonna be a harsh one and the woolie worms are black! |

I heard the same thing about the woolie worms being black yesterday. Ugh Im in eastern nc and we were 80 today but will be in the 40's by wed night. Also saw an article that someone cut up a bunch of persimmon seeds and out of 100 there were 4 forks, the rest spoons (which means snow, if you dont know the legend of them) Definitely going to be a cold winter |

| I guess my old gelding knew what he was doing as he had already started with his winter coat. He always grows a very wooly coat in the winter because (I guess) he was born in Kansas. Now we are in southern Oklahoma and actually the winters do not get as bad here as they did up North in Kansas. |

Awesome for you!! Just watch the weather we are getting flooding rain and other parts of Texas too, with rivers rising and a bridge washed out in the hill country and others being weaken, I dont know your traveling route but better to check befor you hit the road so you dont get stuck somewhere. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | It’s currently 30 degrees here with a wind chill of “no thanks”. Got a few inches of snow last night with more expected throughout the day. Horses got blankets last night. I think it’s going to be a rough winter. |

I'm taking I-10 all the way to the I-20 up to Dallas/Mesquite. Pretty much all major roads but I will keep an eye out. Thanks! |

Location: North Dakota | My car said it was 17 degrees on the way to work yesterday morning. Way colder than it is supposed to be this time of year.
We didn't get any, but a couple hours SE of me got over a foot of snow.
Of course, located in the frozen tundra of North Dakota!!!
But it is supposed to be almost 70 degrees on Thursday. What the heck. |

Location: North Dakota | 30s and 40s during the day here in ND. A week ago we had 12" of snow drop here in ND and windchills near zero. BUT It will be 65 tomorrow!
We went from 90 degrees on a sunday in late september to 30s and 40s a few days later and have stayed that way now. Usually we get decent weather through October and first part of November in the 50s during the day. Hoping for a nice spring next year since fall decided to not show up this year. |

| We were at 12 degrees this morning. We've already had 6in of snow fall and everything is iced over every morning. Got to get my tank warmers in this weekend and put out round bales. Winter is coming fast.
We usually don't see snow until the last week of October but our weather pattern has been so abnormal this year that I'm not surprised that winter is trying to start early. No spring rains, early summer, major drought, no fall, and straight to winter.... Ugh! |
