Daniel 3:16-18. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king..." Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you , O king, that we do not serve your gods,nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
Their victory was not won in the fiery furnace, but right here,before the king, living under pressure, on principle and with perspective. Once we are in a fiery furnace, it's too late to decide what we will say or what we will do. In a world advocating tolerance at all costs , we must learn to live under pressures that come our way. We must learn to live with godly inner principles embedded deep in our very being. And above all, we need to learn to live with perspective: ' our God whom we sere is able to deliver us, but if not.....!! " ALL IS WELL WITH MY SOUL!"
For it is WITH God ALL things are possible.
