| And now all the used Theraplates are for sale. What's with that?? Feels like the old shaking belt thing that made everybody so skinny. |

Location: North Dakota | This is the type of post that makes me skeptical about spending money on anything unless it is veterinary related. I also wish I was smart enough to come up with the next best thing and make a mint promoting it to the right people! I often wonder what really happens when someone constantly tags products they love and then all of a sudden the products aren't being tagged anymore?
Some things work for some people some of the time, but all things do not work for all of the people all of the time unless we're talking about toilet paper! |

However, there are certainly preferences when it comes to toilet paper. |

Location: Northern Ontario | or...people jump on the bandwagon and buy it without really knowing what its for. Like an equi-resp mask. If your horse doesn't have respiration issues, you won't see much of a difference…… They are therapies to fix issues, not miracle workers and if their is nothing wrong, it won't do anything |

| I know ... I know... I hate all the gimmicks. I try to avoid them, but once in awhile I get sucked in. Recently spent over 200 on a person who was an animal communicator who really just took all my $ ...... grrrrrrrrrr. I'll never learn. Just go run barrels and put in the work. If they are hurting, go to the vet.

| I think one of the reasons is that people really do not know what they are truly helping. Another, they are not easily mobile. Another, people do not use them because they do not have time or do not want to spend the time to use them consistently to see the actual results. Final reason I can think of... selling to buy the latest greatest therapy tool.

Location: Texas | I've read two papers on them so far.. One paper claimed that they could not tell a difference in regards to lameness but the horses who stood on the plate were calmer and less fractious than the control group. Another paper proved that standing on vibration plates will increase hoof growth if performed daily for 60 days, and once the therapy stopped the increased hoof growth stopped. I'm sure there will be more papers that come out in the next few months-years. |

| I think for personal use on a few horses the cost outweighs the benefits.
For a therapy/rehab specialist/facility if you buy into the benefits for your prescribed routine then they make sense. |

Location: Spokompton, Wa | Not sure about the Theraplate but I stood on something very similar at Costco for 15 min. I did legs on my workout that morning. I ALWAYS get restless legs from it. I had zero restless legs that night. I believe it did help my circulation. |
