Defense Attorney for The Horse
Location: Claremore, OK | I have the cuff. I like my laser a lot better. The only thing in the instruction manual is how to turn it on, off and charge it, no treatment protocols.
It was explained to me that it’s a type of PEMF and will do what a Magnetic blanket does in one day what it takes a Mag blanket to do in a week. It heals on the cellular level. For 5k, I’m not sold. |

Location: Texas | A friend of mine has a blanket and the cuffs, and really believes in it. From a vet stand point IDK if it works or not. But anecdotally, I happened to be at a jackpot and one of my horses double barrel kicked my other one. She had marks and swellings all over her. My friend brought the blanket over and I swear all the areas where the blanket touched, the swelling never came up. The areas where the blanket didn't reach were the only ones that had a hematoma on them. Anatomy may have been at play here, as some areas are harder to get hematomas to reduce than others (like over the jugular vein versus on a heavily muscled area like a shoulder). And on another occasion she showed me where her mare got kicked and the muscle was torn and the space filled with fluid. I told her it likely may stay that way and I couldn't guarantee it would get better. She religiously used that blanket and in a month it was gone. Couldn't even tell. So I'm not sure what to think! |

I think like a lot of therapies if there is a place for it if you have something specific to address.

Oh I totally agree. You are preaching to the choir here on all of the therapies, supplements, gimmicks you name it that are out there because people think they can slice off another few tenths! |

I like Magnawave, and I do see and feel a difference in how hard my gelding fires. He tends to get muscle sore in his shoulders when we have to travel a lot. I don’t always feel like I see it on the clock though.
But I can slice off more time with the work I’m doing to clean up and smooth out my turns, and me losing a little weight.
The Magnawave just keeps him feeling good because he works hard and deserves to feel good. |
