I’m considering getting a tens unit for my horses. Any experience out there? $125 seems like a reasonable investment if there are benefits. I know these units are used in PT on people so I believe there is value in them. TIA

I use the tens unit on myself. Short term relief of muscle pain.

The only time a tens unit helped me is when my chiropractor used it BEFORE adjusting me. My lower back is always really tight. When I messed my back up a couple months ago it did nothing for the pain.

Only works while its on. Once its off, the pain is right back. My personal experience with one I use at home for my back..  Id save your $.. If you want a at home therapy to spend time with your horse, get a hand held massager and go over them with that

I have my horses treated once a month with myopulse/Accuscope. I see huge benefits from those. Chiropractor comes every 2-3 months depending.
