| Saw this last night and always love looking at the pedigrees on those ponies headed to the NFR. One thing for certain, DTF and Streakin Six are still very prominent and make a good cross from the looks of it!

| Easy Jet and Dash For Cash are the most prolific sires in racing history. Note that every horse with one exception goes back to Easy Jet or Dash For Cash or both. Most of the Dash For Cash horses go back to him through First Down Dash. Pretty good evidence that those bloodlines are still the best in barrel racing today. |

It makes me feel pretty good to see so much Easy Jet as my grey is a grandson (dam's sire) of Easy Jet. He also goes back to Dash for Cash too...maybe I have an NFR horse! I have to be a little confident/braggy as my grey ran .8 seconds off the fast girls in Montana this weekend with less than 10 runs under his belt. |

That's how my big guy is bred too. I've had several people tell me he was wasted by being just "a horse" rather than running barrels. Yeah, um, NOPE!!! I'd take many more just like him. Congrats again on your boy!!! |

Ha! That horse couldn’t have had a better life than the one he has with you! Fact is most horses could careless what they are bred for! |

Thank you mam, that means a lot. . . He's officially "my old man" since Dan is gone now---23 and boss of the pasture. And you're right, he thinks he was made to be my 1200 lb lapdog basically!!

I would take a pasture full of horses like my guy! I love riding him, running barrels on him, I just love him and his personality and his athleticism. He also is a grandson of Playgun, which I love, however he does not know what a cow is, LOL, even though he was raised on a ranch! |

| Getting close to that time of year !! What is everyone’s predictions? It’s exciting to see so many first time qualifiers. You never know what they will do! As always Go Lisa! Kind of hope she cracks out Rosa just to see what she will do! |
