Location: British Columbia		Has anyone slated their outdoor? I know it's normal to salt indoors over colder months so they don't freeze up, but is it any help to salt an outdoor to help snow melt?

Hmmm . . had never thought of that. But I keep a horse in the arena so not sure that would be good for him and his feet. But it is an idea and I bet it would wipe out the weeds too?
