Veteran Posts: 289 Location: Northeast SD	Sorry, my personal preference I wouldn't unless the mares are proven performers or producer in the barrel pen..1D or rodeo winner performer or producer. Everyone has what they like but I am not huge on reining for barrels or super cowbred.

That's White "Man" to You Posts: 5515	If you are breeding for a barrel horse, I'd breed to a barrel horse. I don't have nearly enough resources or time to be the person who finds the outcross that just happens to work.
