I have some 2pc O-rings, and a 2pc D-ring on hand. However I'm wondering if a 3pc would be best for a young horse in learning to bend and flex and so on? It's a 4yr old that will ride in a smooth mouth or thicker twisted mouthpiece. Anyone have some favorite snaffles you care to share and why you like them? I was wondering if and offset O Ring would be ok to work with a martingale as well? Thanks!

Not quite what you are looking for, but I am a fan of the Chris Cox Signature Snaffle. It has some weight, and in my opinion, horses respond better to it because they can feel when you pick up the rein, as well as the release of pressure better.

I only a have a few bits that I truly “love” but my Elliott 3 piece snaffle with the cricket is one of them. And I am not an Elliott junkie. Great feel to it and great response from the horses. Definitely a go-to Bit for me.
