| Better than Bison, probaby true.
Never owned or spent a lot of time around them. They don’t seem very heavy made. Off the cuff I would put them in the class as Lakota, Exiss, Meryl’s, etc.

Location: Oklahoma | Not well made. Same class as Bison, Lakota, Exciss. I wouldn't pull one even if it were given to me. |

| I believe they are better than a Bison but definitely not a higher end trailer. I know a lady who has one and the roof leaked around the slide. The dealer fixed by putting an awning over the slide.
IMO spend a few thousand more and go up to a Sundowner which is more middle of the road. They are made by horse people and are a pretty good bang for your buck. |

Location: Feeding mosquitos, FL | I've heard a few horror stories. Axles ripping off going down the road, tires falling off, electrical problems, LQ flooding from holding tanks. No thanks. |

Axles ripping off going down the road? How does that happen, now that would be scary, but I have not heard of that happening, now tires coming off yes that does happen but that can be any brand of trailer or truck or car, seen that happen after getting new tires put on or changing a flat and the lug nuts not get tighten. I always double check the lug nuts.. You sure can see scarying things going down the road |

| I hauled with a girl that had a Shadow bumper pull. Everything but the frame was either fiberglass or plastic, definitely not one inch was built to last. It also had several just stupid design flaws that were very inconvenient. |

Location: the land of dust & sticks | We bought a shadow several years ago...it would be almost 11 yrs old now. We didn’t have any problems with it. Loved the trailer, pulled great. However I think there has been some changing of hands within the company? ....and I know several people that have had problems with the newer ones. I’d say a Lakota is probably a little nicer than a shadow. But my shadow and the Lakota held up better than the bison...just from first hand experience with a friend who’s had a bison and now 2 or 3 Lakota |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I have one and it’s not a bad trailer. Pulls good and seems to be a well put together aluminum over steel frame trailer. I was price shopping, so this is the one I got a deal on. Like others have said, Lakota is better. It’s not a high end trailer, but I don’t find it’s necessarily “poorly made”. I do have a leak inthe roof toward the rear. Doesn’t bother me, tho. I’ve found that can happen with any trailer, just look over the individual trailer you’re buying really good. |

Location: North MS | I have two friends with Shadow trailers. Both 4H trailers. One with 12' living quarters and the other has a huge LQ. Both have had zero trouble with their trailers and they are going on two years old. Of course they both maintain them too. Upgraded lights to LEDS and such. |

| I've been looking at the brand new ones to custom order. I plan on driving to the dealer to check out every inch. I'm also looking for personal experiences and opinions but I think they have also improved over the years from what I'm finding....7 year structure warranty and 2 yr roadside assistance included. Advantech subfloor. 100% aluminum. Aluminum interlocking tongue/groove construction. Still researching!

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I can say this... get everything you want on it from the beginning. I added a stud wall and the parts department was kind of a pain to deal with. And they sent the wrong thing, after a long wait and many phone calls. Didn’t want to go through that again, so we just modified what they sent. |

| Down to either Lakota or Shadow-going to look at Lakota's today. I know there's lemons in all brands but have decided Bison isn't something I want to put my $ into so now dealing with sales reps....urrrr |
