My vet gave me some vials of pentosan from Kinetic Vet... I have only ever used pentosan from horse pre race. I never had any injection site reactions but some did. Just wondering who is using this brand and if your giving it IM or IV. I can do either. My vet didn't seem to have a preference. thanks!

correct, its used off label for joint therapy. Has always been that way. Its FDA approved as a medical device used to flush urinary bladders. LOL But its always been that way. I have used the Horse pre race for long time and never had an issue. My vet likes the Kinetic version better instead of wedgewood. Just curious if anyone had used the kinetic. Giving first dose tonight so will report back!

Of course. ALl Pentosan is labeled for that. Pentosan is always used off label.
