I have two five year old hay chix nets. Until this last fall, one was entirely on its own feeding the horses and getting stomped. This last fall I cut the big string off and used a smaller string to weave it on to a hay ring. Made my life much simpler! I haven't put the second net on my newer hay ring (bought last month), but will soon.

I just got a couple hay chix. Not sure what I think about them. Zero waste but my horses never leave the round bale. Makes me wonder if they are getting enough to eat as they are constantly eating on it?
