I’m trying to decide on a good supplement for mymare. She’s not super moody or anything (thank goodness) but I can tell her cycles are tough on her. She sucks in air A LOT when she squats and she just seems tired overall. I just want to do something to help her out that won’t cost an arm and a leg. She’s my first mare in MANY years, lol, so I’m kinda behind when it comes to this side of things. Thanks guys!

There are a few boarders at the barn I board at that swear by Oxygen PMP. I have a gelding so I’ve never used it, but they have great things to say about it.

With her sucking air I would think you need to get a caslick done on her, if I had a mare that I was riding I would have it done, better for her all the way around.

Cbd pellets helped my mare a lot... I use plantacea brand-msg me if you have any questions about them! She was really mareish and just hateful toward other horses til I tried this stuff.

I would take her to the vet to get examined before trying any supplements. This will save you money in the long run rather than throwing money into supplements that may or may not work.
She could have cysts or anything such as that that is causing this and trust me they are PAINFUL! They can give you an approach that will work. Regumate might be the answer so she doesn't cycle.
But I'd recommend going to the vet FIRST!

Agree 1000000000000000% tried all the supplement crap out there and went to regumate on my mare who cycles 12 months out of the year without batting an eye. Her cycles were very painful to her. Regumate is expensive but SO WORTH IT... Raspberry leaves, CBD, etc no change. Sometimes you have to go back to medical science.
