In 1962, the Supreme Court prohibited this simple invocation in the classroom: " Almighty God , we acknowledge our dependency on Thee and we be Thy blessings upon us, our parents our teachers, and our Country" We have fallen a long way since those charters were written, but I believe we could be on the threshold of another genuine spiritual awakening in our land. DONT GIVE UP ON AMERICA! KEEP PRAYING! A patriot is one who vigorously suppports his country and is prepared to defend it against all enemies. Make sure your own highest loyalty is to the Lord and His kingdom as you go about your life. Lord, I join Simon Peter today in saying, " We ought to obey God rather than men" Acts 5:29. You hold my highest loyalty. Guide me today and always to do all things that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO YOU AMEN for it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. |
