They presented all these statistics on FOX this week. I find them very believable given that most of these people have very little education and don't take the time to learn our language.

But one tid bit that caught my ear over the thanksgiving holiday was the talk of the meeting with the china representitive and the tarrif talks.... Does anyone realize that our president demanded they reduce the opiod dumping on america or no holds barred on tarrifs to their country??? Cry about the unfair trade war tarriffs going on right now but dang that sure is a good stance for us.... and maybe im a little biased but here in Indiana we are in an opiod crisis which has led to a huge influx of human trafficing. |

It’s an uphill fight and anyone with any interest understands why. The hate is intensifying. The divisions are widening. “Common ground” is increasingly rare. I don’t see any of this improving.
A few years ago, anyone who dared to openly express their fear that civil war is a distinct possibility would probably be called crazy.
We are no strangers to civil unrest. In fact, this republic was born out of it. I think this time we are venturing into unchartered waters.
I do think some form of civil war is increasingly likely. |

Agreed, but actually $1 Billion is a drop in the bucket. The cost I’ve seen quoted is around $25 Billion. Trump was asking for $5 Billion. I’m not optimistic that even half of the Trump voters will give to GoFundMe.
As much as I’m willing to contribute, I think the GoFundMe drive will come up woefully short. Furthermore, how sure are we that the wall can be constructed this way even if, by some miracle, the needed money was raised? Can congress be legally bypassed in such a way that the wall can just be built if someone donates the funds?
I just don’t know.

I read on snopes that it is false that Mexico actually has a border wall like this.
However, I don't much trust snopes. I'm curious if anyone has any trustable sources? |

You are right Nateracer, when they built that toll road threw here a few years back it really screwed up alot of homeowners and land owners land and looks.. |

It's growing into a real problem in SW NM..
The border patrol is apprehending hundreds..almost daily coming across our barb wire fence AKA the border.
Farmers and ranchers are witnessing massive increases in traffic in Antelope Wells.
Those apprehended..are processed, and any needing medical assistance are shuttled back in forth to our local hospitals by our enduring border patrol agents....it's overwhelming...and we foot the bill..
It's costing us taxpayers $95.000 just to feed them in one month alone, and no signs of it slowing down...
Most are sent to El Paso...but there's thousands being held near Lordsburg, NM.
These people have no idea of cleanliness, and sanitation isn't a priority..
We are required to have state of the art facilities for them..showers, sleeping areas, and they regularly defecate on the floors..throw dirty diapers and garbage anywhere..
The border patrol gets to clean up after them daily..with no gratitude. They carry their country flags..with no intentions of assimilating, and becoming American.
I personally think Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi..need to spend some time down here..so they can have poo thrown at them..
We want border security!!!!!!! Now!
