I have a 20 year old palomino gelding whose leg hairs are slowly turning black. His back legs have socks, so are still white, but his front legs are getting darker every year! It’s not summer/winter hair either. Has anyone else had this happen? Nothing wrong, just am curious as I’ve never had it happen before.

Maybe he's decided to be a bit of a sooty pali!
