Trying to decide which is better? Haven't owned either so also would like to know what the resale value would be. Both saddles I'm looking at are used (with similar use) and both aren't fancy just plain. Would love input!

I ride a G-G on one of my horses. Love it and ride it better than I do the one on my second horse but she doesn't seem to like it and I can't seem to make it fit her.

Not to steal the post but is there a Minnesota FB page or place I could advertise one. I’ve got one in SD that is almost brand new and I’ve had no luck selling.

I tried a G-G on my guy when I was shopping a few years back - I just couldn’t get into the way it fit him. It’s different, looks very perchy to me although I know they are built different than a lot of trees. That particular one was 2” too small for me so I didn’t even try to ride it and never managed to track down one that would fit me to try.
I bought a C3 during the same time. It was ok. Just ok. The workmanship was very nice. The high back hurt my back, not terribly, but when I would ride my rope saddle I noticed a big difference in lower back comfort. It fit one horse ok, but I had to use a CSI pad to keep him from getting sore in the shoulders. I don’t like using a pad that thick if I can avoid it. It didn’t fit the other one at all, I don’t think their wide tree would have made a difference.
I had both of them fitted by Burns and until the second one grows up more a Burns #20 fits both of them with a pad change. I think this summer I’ll be looking for a #30 tree for the colt. I love that saddle, it’s easily the most instantly comfortable balanced ride I’ve ever sat in. Horses all feel great in it.
