Congratulations on winning the 2nd go at the Buckeye futurity. And better yet , she won it on a Slick filly. The Slicks horses are proving to be very good. So proud to have bred to him & kept one back for me :) |

I don't know if she trained the filly, but she probably might have. No she doesn't own her. She is riding for the owner. I saw the results on facebook that she won it & saw the video. She had a beautiful run. Slick sure puts his stamp on his kids

| 1D once again doesnt seem to have much knowledge of the facts. ..2000 foals on the ground? I wish!! I would be rich!! Then he would have 1/2 as many as DTF who the numbers sure didn’t seem to hurt.
Slick had a great weekend. This is the first big foal crop that has finally hit the arena. We waited 5 years for this crop to arrive!
This weekend Slick had the reserve Futurity Champion at the No Bull Futurity in Florida. He had the 2 nd go winner as well as 3 in the top 10 average at Edna, Texas. He also had the winner of the 2 nd round in Az.
1D you keep saying all the negative you want! The trainers are telling us his foals are very smart and athletic and trainer friendly! Time will tell. |

nope, still here.
Never been intimidated by anyone at any time .
Also never said anything bad about the stallion, just stated an obviously exagerated opinion that seems to hve rubbed a number of very thin skinned folks the wrong way.

We all know you're still around!!! I was referring to the "2000 foals" statement being gone. . .
Most of us were just stating an obviously "un-exaggerated" opinion that Slick is making nice babies |

I didn't see the post so maybe I am off base with my comment. But saying a stallion has 2,000 foals on the ground when really he has around 500 could stop someone to breeding to a stallion if they think their foal wouldn't have market value. ASOF was criticized many times on this board for having too many foals on the ground and have to wonder if that swayed anyone's choice in breeding to him?
Don't run your mouth if you don't know - end of story. |

And the drop from 2015 to 2016.

That's probably because not everyone has registered their foals from the 2018 crop.

Slick Bred almost the exact same number of mares for the past 4 years. So as all the registrations come in those numbers will be close to the same. |

I'll just say congratulations to Michelle, Slick, Mr Cole, and Mr Martin. . . When I watched that big black guy run into the arena each of those nights in December, it just made me catch my breath for a second. A thing of beauty |

Jason, I am just so sorry my post turned into a slick bashing. You know how much I love Slick. All I wanted to do was congratulate Michele on winning with a slick kid. I had no idea that it would turn into what it did. I am sorry. |
