| My Gelding is wide all along his back, the saddle I currently have fits him in withers, but then pinches just behind there, what’s a wide fit saddle that would work? (Preferably one I could find used for under $1500) TIA |

Location: Texas | I had one built for my mare who is wide and thick-backed that is for sale on the tack page. It has flatter bar angles to accomodate her back. I am only selling because it doesn't fit me. I've only had it a little over a year. I can PM you about it, if you are interested. |

| Both of my horses are exactly the same as you describe and My Charmayne James Wide tree fits them perfect and Awesome. I have 2 of them and might be willing to sell one of them in your price range. |

| Just give robbie a call! He's super easy to work with and knows alot!! I talked with him and told him what I was riding in and what I wanted to improve and sent him pics of my horses and he suggested I try the 7 regular, and I'm glad I went with it! fits my horse like a glove and fits me!
I LOOVE robbies saddles! I'm going to order another one here soon! |

Location: in the ozone | The one I found that fit my gelding the best (who is built like that) was the Martin Crown C. I didn't care for how it sat me that much but he was happy so I adapted. |

yea... give him a call.. he is FAB to work with and talk to... he could tell you more in comparison on those others then I can, I have never rode in any of them... but I believe the angles of the bars are what make his extra wide what it is.... |

Location: North Dakota | Circle Y Flex2 saddle in the WIDE. You might have a hard time finding a used one (and of course the leather quality could be better) but I love how they fit and ride. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | My mare has a wide flat back. I tried the Cactus CJ, Cactus Brandi Halls, Robbie Phillips, Martin and ended up having a Burns made or her. Best thing I ever did for my mare. |
