| i was using regular stirrups but my ankle was giving me fits. So I bought some original crooked ones and my ankle still isn’t liking those either. Plus I feel like my heels are naturally going too low which I’ve never had that problem before. I saw some kroes stirrups advertised online. Any input? Advice? Ideas? |

| I like my Kroes feet, my ankles and knees like them. I’ve never ridden in other twisted/crooked stirrups so I can’t really speak to a comparison. |

| I got some SA Walls a couple years ago and love them. They have lessened my knee and ankle pain from riding 2 point (long trotting) all the time. Posting became impossible for me like over 10 years ago because of the knees and I'm wondering if I can go back to that now. |

Thank you my dear! They now also have the same style as the Halfbreeds but different foot pad that they call the Barrel Racer, so works for everyone's preferences. And we also have the Slanted ones too for those of us that need even more relief on the old joints! |

I used to be an die hard Walls fan until I used the Nettles with Leveler! It's night and day, IMO. I'll never go back to Walls. |

I rode a friends saddle with the Nettles and the regular walls slanted-neither of them are anything like the twisted and slanted for walls. I have an unpopular opinion about nettles but that won't go over well here! I did my homework and tried everyone suggested here (except of course the "leveler" with nettles as they are new) and found the slanted and twisted are the best for me |

Did the Nettles you tried have the Leveler? Because that is what makes all the difference. I had a regular pair of Nettles that were fine but it is a whole different ball game with the Leveler.... |

| Ok now, Which nettles do you like and why? Have you tried the “75’s”? I’m going to pick between the half breed and the 75s ... I think lol
I think I’ll go ahead and (Gulp) get the leveler option.

I had 75s without the Leveler. I personally did not find them conducive to barrel racing. Sold them pretty quickly. I now have two pairs of Barrel Racer Nettles with the Levelers. What I really like, other than no knee pain, is (because of how they rock) you can get up on your toes and hustle (like leaving a barrel) or plant your heels and sit really deep (like going into a turn). They’re pretty awesome. Also, again because of how they rock/rotate, I believe it would be near impossible to get a foot hung up in the stirrup if you came off. |

ok I ordered the 75's with the leveler. I'm not racing much anymore just a little now and then. mostly trail, ranch and training. I get the leather tread, I had grip tread in the past (walls) and got my foot stuck in the stirrup. i'm pretty excited to get them!! thanks to rockyroad! |
