So I have a foal coming this spring and I want to put "Chardoneigh" in the name soooo bad. The BUCKSKIN FILLY (prob sorrel stud colt...) is Sun Frost bred like most other barrel horses 0.o so I am trying to find a way to name her traditionally but also be different than all of the frosts and the firewaters.

My stud colts name is "Too Fly For A French Guy" kind of a throw back for anyone that remembers the 90s song Pretty Fly For A White Guy. He's a First Down French.

My best mare was named “Im so bootylicious”. At big shows they always played the destiny child song bootylicious when I ran. Her barn name was Booty.

I also like the name Famous Silk Panties! I love the unique not the traditional.

Not a barrel horse but a friend named their jumper Buck Naked...that way every time she entered the ring the announcer would have to say in their reserved professional english show voice... "Next we have Kelli B. riding Buck Naked"

Also not a barrel horse. But a cutter who's reg name was My Wife. So, "This is (whoever was showing her) riding My Wife"

I think there is a barrel horse named Buck Neighkid as well!

The best name ever is and was Papers, an AQHA registered horse.

However, for some reason I understand the new owners changed the name, which in my opinion they should not have.

I like my stud's name FlitYeahImaFirewater aka Gunner.
I renamed Audie's registered name to Artful Assault (dam was by Artful Move and I like military stuff). He was called Stone Cold Chocolua (his sire is Chocolua). Not a fan of Steve Austin lol and that is all I could think of when I heard his name.

Woke Up Dreamin
Ive Got A Girl Crush
Just Another Promise
Sixy Runway Model

I've named several after WWII B17 bombers
Aint Miss Behavin
Lil Memphis Belle
Lil Lacey Lady
Lil Lady Jeannette

There are several blue hen AQHA race broodmares that have really neat catchy names

AMEN!  I can't beleive they changed it!  I know when she sold him and said they changed it there was an outcry.  Everyone knew that horse by it's "papers" and had a following just on that.  Now IDK what it's name is and probably never will.

My horse has the STUPIDEST name...  Coulda Foaled Me.  Ugh.

I always wanted to name one Herself or Himself.   Here come's Rae, riding Herself!

Not a registered name, but we recently sold a really talented heel horse known as "Uncle Bob". Everyone thought we named him after my husbands grandpa who had that nick name. Actually around the time we were trying to come up with a name for him we saw a youtube video of rapper Lil Wayne talking about how a cop had saved his life after accidentally shooting himself at 12 years old. The cop sat with him in the hospital until he knew everything would be alright, telling the rapper "don't worry, my name is Uncle Bob".  At the end of the video Wayne exclaimed " I know a good (explicted) named Uncle Bob though".  BAM, horse named.

Had a gelding that was unofficially Double The Bar Tab.

Standardbred racing had some good ones.

I remember a Spongebob, Happy Rabbit, something Wabbit, Tricky Again, Snappy Salute (you would've thought he was a roping quarter horse), Runaway A (he was a legit runaway when jogging), and Barry. Barry was a mare with the ugliest roman nose ever!

There was a little roan named Roan Palone, it was funny because there's a good driver named Dave Palone

I have had decent luck naming them.

Our colt is Famous and Shameless, barn name Rodman
Traffic Stoppin Girl
Chasin Ladybugs
Who Stol My Shiner
Cowgirlgonestreakin
Firewatermakesmerock
RUbuggdbymyremington
And I have a really really good one for the half sister to my colt expected in late April. It’s a doozy.
