I don't want any DTF, FWF or FG
Mare is DTF bred and I have already crossed her on FWF and FG
I am looking to stay around $2,000 stud fee but will go higher if the right stud comes along.
Would like to see at least 16hh or close to it (I want tall)
Don't care about color or what programs he is in
must have excellent bone
I will be doing AI only
I am kind of on a hunt for a proven hidden piece of GOLD, LOL, I know this all sounds stupid!!
What comes to mind that has proven babies in your area but might no be name brand or popular across the US but is in your area!

Thank you for all of your help in advance.

Why do you want 16hh? That isn’t necessarily going to give you height.

Volcom is big.
My Pappasito mare is huge. Her dam is maybe 15.2 and that’s about what Pappi is. My mare is easily 16 and weighs about 1,200.

Hooked on Run 102si Ardmore Oklahoma. Hes that and a nice horse. We bred twice to him and have started two for the owner here. Colt and a filly. Both nice. Jake Bramlett owns him. He takes good care of your mares. Hooked on Run has a website. It's sure worth the time to look.

I’m not sure how tall he is, but Rare Cigar would be a good cross with your mare. His PE is $735,000+. He does go back to DFC on his dams’ side.

Bullseye Bullion would also be a great cross, but again, I’m not sure his height.

Just going to throw this out there, but if you want a 16 hand stallion. I highly recommend taking a measuring stick with the bubble and all and measuring the prospective stallion in person. I have seen several stallions in person that say they are a certain height and they are 2" less than what is advertised.

^^^This.

So many people claim, whether they are studs or not, that their horses are 16Hs. And they are not.

I have had this issue with Equine Dentists, Farriers, Vets, and Chriopractors.  I have always had big/tall barrel horses and I do not exaggerate when I say how tall/big they are. Anywhere from 16.0-16.3Hs. But the pro's do think I am exaggerating when I say just how big they are and can be a handful when they think they are threatened. When the professionals show up, they always say I wasn't exaggerating at how big/tall they are. I usually underestimate mine. Not so with so many people. Many people way over estimate how tall their horses are.

We generally don't care about height, most what we buy are broodmares. I want them 15 hands to 15.3 hands. After having a nearly 17 hand hunter I am better at guessing sizes. I am short, 5'1". My old guy I grew up riding is 15 hands. So when I stand near one I can be pretty accurate if they are 15/15.1 or 16 hands plus. Amazes me when someone says they have a 16.2 horse and all it is is a thin made, leggy 15.2/15.3. Shouldn't really matter unless a person really desires size due to their height or preference, or like HUS...the bigger the more they are worth. But it does bug me because for some odd reason a lot of people think it is cool to have a 16+ hand horse. The truth is there are few that big, even the race bred horses aren't really tall. My 2 Ivory James are just 15 hands. My Coronas Leaving You is 15.2. All the Takin On The Cash mares, Hot Colours, Shoot Yeah, Sixarun, Dean Miracle, Mr Dark Jet, A Classic Dash, Special Leader etc etc were all 15-15.3 tops.
