     Location: Muskogee, OK | Not a super common diagnosis- I imagine it could cause some discomfort in the initial injury stage. However, this ligament is usually the one addressed for locking patella issues. It can actually be cut in two (if there is an issue with locking), and the horse can usually go on to be performance sound. I would imagine that as long as the tear heals sufficiently this horse could go back to normal activity. Rest is going to be the mainstay of treatment. |
