Those of you that have or had a horse that had Tie back surgery, how long did it take for the wound to heal and what was your after surgery care instructions?

Vet here, during my internship we did a bunch of them. Usually took 10-14 days for the surgical site to "heal", although they are sutured closed so not really a wound, per say. We would recommend rest for about 30 days then start back into work.
