Lance Graves, Derek Dietrich (Local Iowa guy, but made the final round of The American) Chris Martin....Just off the top of my head.
There aren't tons of guys out there, but there are some that have made good names for themselves. Open barrel races have a huge spot for them. I think that sometimes people just think Rodeo, which doesn't have male racers, but they're out there. |

| In the east (of the Mississippi) I would say that men top the divisional barrel racing, or at least split it, with women. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | LOL, where have you been, Men have been running barrels for ever and kicking booty and are successful trainers, theres not a whole lot out there but they are there, Mighty Broke listed some of them..
My favorite bloodlines go back to Sugar Bars and Streakin Six, Leo, I like the old lines but as time gos on they are disappearing. But if I see something with Sugar Bars on the papers I listen.. |

| The only drawback is the weight. It is hard for a 160-180 pound man to compete with a 90 girl on an otherwise even playing field. I have a lot of friends of the male persuasion that run in the top of the 1D. |

Location: MN | Brett Monroe and Kebo Almond come to mind as well. I grew up running against them, as well as the Green's and Craig Brooks. I think they have all gone to show what they can do for and in the industry! Winning the World, making it to the American, etc.
As for bloodlines - My Corona Cartel/Bully Bullion is really impressing me. I'd take a handful of them if I could!

I'm sure it all comes down to Bear's post on pg 1 about when he moved to Texas and heard a lot about male barrel racers being "well, you know." I'm assuming insinuating that all male racers are homosexuals. Derek D. has a long time girlfriend...Lance graves was (maybe is?) married and has kids, and I don't know enough of the rest of them to say.
Guess what?? Who cares! If they can ride and treat their horses good, I don't care if they are purple and tattoo'd and full of piercings. LMAO |

| Pete Owen, Dustin Angelle, James Barnes, Kelly Conrado..along with all the others named. I think there is a stigma in Rodeo still, but not near as much in the barrel devisional/futurity game. Tons of men out there that can take your money! |

I dont have a favorite bloodline. I like trying lots of different ones. |
