when in trouble , some will look for the bailout, a person of means with the power needed to drive the out of the ditch.  However, Psalm 49: 1-9 learned that NO amount of money or power can liberate the soul held captive.  Jesus once asked what someone could give in exchange for his own soul.  The answer: there is NO amount large enough to redeem ourselves.  So it goes without saying that the price to redeem another is out of the question too. What, then, is the answer for the troubled heart? It IS THE POWER OF God's LOVE!   The source of redemption is the POWER IN THE BLOOD, NOT our balance in the bank.  Wealth is a tool, NOT a savior.   This bit of wisdom comes to us from one who had it ALL, wealth, power, and money, yet to find life eternal and joy, he TURNED TO God ALONE...Our challenge today is to cross over to the land of the listening.  Let us be humble enough to SEEK the WISDOM IN God's Word and mature enough to heed the lessons given. The God of our salvation IS the God of ALL JOY!

HEAR this, ALL peoples; GIVE ear, all inhabitants of the world , both low and height, rich and poor together.  My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall give understanding.

Father God, guide me today and ALWAYS to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY and HONOR TO You.  HELP me live so those who know me but don't know You will come to know You because they know me. AMEN
