My horses would revolt- it is 32 here with windchill of 26, they would not leave their stalls, lol. Beautiful pictures
Two of mine went out in the pasture willingly with air temp of 0 yesterday morning. They are happy as clams out there as long as the wind isn't howling and wind chill is no lower than 5 below. I do blanket because we typically try to compete some over the winter and want to keep hair to a reasonable amount. Today the actual temp was about 10 above this morning at 6:30 and we put two more outside for the day. They were totally content with piles of hay and a tub of fresh water. I hope they drink enough this morning to be OK if it freezes and they don't know how to break the ice themselves before my husband gets home at 4:10, but they've both been pastured before so I think they'll figure it out, or they'll lean on the fence and drink from the tub in the big pasture that has a heater in it.

Gorgeous photos!! Thankful I dont have to deal with snow anymore. Although would have liked 2 inches for some snow pics this winter (everything would be shut)
