I am in search of a combo bit for my mare that I can buy soon. I am looking for a shorter like 5" or shorter shank, 3 piece, not all smooth o would like something twisted and it has to have copper. TIA.  I would prefer to stay under $70.

Check out L&W bits. They may have what you are looking for. I just ordered something very similar to what you described below except with a chain mouthpiece.

I have never been a fan of combo bits but Don Wasson’s tear drop combo is wonderful. Order from Josey Western Store. Has a three piece mouth and a very short shank. Also comes with a liver shank. I just have the teardrop.  All are handmade by Don. He and his wife are very good friends. Well balanced bit. Think my trainer ran my horse at the AQHA World show.  Would have to look
