| I know what you’re talking about...just can’t think of it. we ditched the mats and had a Polylast style system put in. It’s suppose absorb some if that, plus I love not having to use shavings anymore - I feel like it’s so much better for them not to be breathing dust going down the road. Super easy clean out too. |

     Location: Sunny California | About 10 years ago I bought closed cell foam online, took it to my local trailer dealer and had them cut it to fit then put my mats over it. At the time I had an older horse that stocked up really bad, even on short rides. He never stocked up again, even hauling from California to Texas. I would say I was a light to moderate hauler and they lasted about 5 years before the places under the horses’ hooves wore down. |
