I’m looking for something that could go under the mats in my trailer to help absorb the rough roads. I know about air ride I’d like to look at other options.

Any and all input is appreciated!

I know what you’re talking about...just can’t think of it.

we ditched the mats and had a Polylast style system put in.  It’s suppose absorb some if that, plus I love not having to use shavings anymore - I feel like it’s so much better for them not to be breathing dust going down the road.  Super easy clean out too.

About 10 years ago I bought closed cell foam online, took it to my local trailer dealer and had them cut it to fit then put my mats over it. At the time I had an older horse that stocked up really bad, even on short rides. He never stocked up again, even hauling from California to Texas. I would say I was a light to moderate hauler and they lasted about 5 years before the places under the horses’ hooves wore down.
