Who has done it to their horse?  How often do you want to get it done? Or do you feel like it is a one time thing for y’all? Are you more likely to get it done at a race or call someone and make an appointment?

TIA!

I'd have it done more often if it wasn't so pricey. But I loved it!

I bought one of the iMRS blanket type units.  They are not cheap but I got a good deal.  It is a lower frequency than the coil.  The coil machines are very pricy.  I have used both and like them both.  My horses love it when I put the blanket on and I also have the leg attachments.  I am a fan of PEMF!

I tried it for the first time on my horse that has a lot of lameness issues. We did 3 sessions in about 1 weeks time, as that is what was suggested to me. I do feel like it helped him move less stiff. She suggested after the initial 3-series, that I could have it done about once a month going forward.

I think it is going to vary on the machine type. Definately want someone with a quality machine.

I love it. My equine massage lady does horses and people. She charges $1 a minute so I usually do half an hour for myself. I think it works best in conjunction with massage for general muscle tension/soreness. My dad has a tear in his rotator cuff and doesn't have time to get surgery, he started getting PEMF treatments once a week and he has no more pain in his shoulder.
