my pillow that I got from Brooklyn bedding needs to get replaced and wondering what are some good pillows. I don't want My Pillow. .i want something that doesn't get hot.

Yep, I'm not a huge My Pillow fan either. So going to follow if anybody else chimes in 

I bought a couple from wyndham(the hotel chain.)I think they were like 60.00 a piece but I LOVE THEM:)

I don't like My Pillow either but at Kohl's I buy a pillow that I think is called 2 in 1 by Serta and I love it.  It's a little firmer on one side than the other by design.  I like the softer side. It's very comfy.

Go try a Sleep Number pillow.  We used the pillows for awhile before we got the bed.

They are amazing.  Not cheap but worth it.  They'll help you figure out which one is right for you.

I love, love my Tony Little pillows.  I get from HSN I think, one of those shopping networks.

I recently bought a Tuft and Needle pillow. LOVE IT. My daughter kept stealing it, she’s 7, so we bought her one too. Amazing and my neck does not get when I wake up. Highly recommend it

I got a My Pillow for Christmas....I've never had a worse neck ache in my life. Hate that thing...my dogs and boyfriend love it tho

I was determined to like mine because I love that they're made in the USA.  Basically they're little chunks of foam rubber inside a pillow casing and there's a lumpy factor that I don't care for.  Also I was waking up with red eyes because of the foam rubber.  That just has to do with sensitivity......not a problem for most people.  I have three now because I won two.  Luckily my husband likes them.  

I'll have to check and see what mine is called next time I go to my chiro's office (he sells them), but I use a pillow for side and back sleepers that basically has a cut out for your head so your neck isn't all kinked. I LOVE mine. My husband tried it and didn't care for it. He uses a Purple pillow and really likes it.

This is what I use too. I bought my first one ~15 years ago and it finally wore out so I just bought a new one last year. I like how you can adjust them to fit your neck etc.

I tried My Pillow, got headaches from it, tried JC Penney pillows, got headaches from them.  I have tried so many pillows until the Tony Little pillow.  No headaches from the Tony Little pillow.  Would love to get his full body pillow.

Isn't it amazing the diversity of what folks like in pillows.     

Same goes with the mattress topics we've had on this board.  Nobody likes Sleep Number mattresses but me, but lots of sleepers like their pillows.

What did you end up getting for you?

I have a serenity by Tempurpedic memory foam pillow that I love. I went from constant neck pain to no pain after I bought it. 

I don't want a lumpy pillow.  My Brooklyn bedding pillow is almost 3 yrs old but feels like it is wore out.  I'm just shocked at how much they have raised their prices since June of 2016, almost doubled.  Pillows are so darn expensive in my mind. I gues I'm cheap skate on something, but my neck is killing me when I wake up.

I love My Pillow.  I'm a belly sleeper so mine is really thin.  You do have to learn how to sleep on them by shaping them the way you want them.  When on my belly I root out the hole for my head but if I'm laying on my back for awhile I bunch it up.  Hubby never did learn and has swithched to another pillow.

It's a pillow from Kohl's that's brand name is Columbiana.  It has the square casing and is very comfy. I had posted earlier that I like the Serta 2 in 1 but realized later I gave up on that one ..... again red eyes.  I'm glad lots of people do sleep on the My Pillow.  Mike Lindell is a good guy, a conservative, sends pillows to soldiers overseas and provides jobs for lots of folks.

I love our Sleep Number or as it used to be called Select Comfort bed.  We've had ours since 1997! 

It's nice to be able to choose the level you want to sleep on with the push of a button.

We have some My Pillows and we like them.  

What I like most about “My Pillow” is the story behind the man who created the company, Mike Lindell, because it’s a great example of an idea that seems to be fading away in this country, “American Exceptionalism”.  Lindell was a crack cocaine addict and alcoholic dating back to the 1980s.  His chemical dependency continued well into the years following his original success with My Pillow, and his addiction cost him his marriage, and nearly his business.  Fortunately, he has been sober for about 10 years now, and his company has yielded him about $300 million in net worth. 

He exemplified the old adage, “necessity is the mother of invention”.  He realized that he was never satisfied with any pillow available on the market, and about 15 years ago literally sat down and, through trial and error, created what he felt was the best pillow money could buy.  At first he hand made his pillows and peddled them to stores in the Minneapolis/St Paul area.  Sales skyrocketed, and his company exploded.  He took another chance by spending $500K to create an infomercial, about 8 years ago, and he went from a small company with 50 employees to the current level of 1600 employees.   

That’s why I like my pillow.  I love stories like this.

I didn't know all that about Mike Lindell but he was at a Trump rally a few months ago and the President introduced him.  This is a step for any businessman to commit to since liberals tend to want to boycott or ridicule them if they proudly display their conservatism.
