I'm curious how you identify whether or not your mare is moody becuase she's, well, a mare, or if the attitude, spookieness, ear pinning, anxiety, etc. is from something else?   As I look through supplements you see ones for mares to help manage cycles and their moodiness, and others for general calming and anxiety.  

I guess my question is, what are some signs of a moody mare or mare in heat that might require supplementation vs general spookiness, anxiety, etc.?
