Can we talk IRAP, RenoVo etc.
Specifically for hocks/stifles.
I somewhat know HOW IRAP works. RenoVo I will be getting more information today on.
I want to hear personal experiences with each. Tell me what your horses issue was, why you opted for which treatment, what did it cost, and was it successful. I want to hear HONESTY, so good and bad.
IRAP, ProStride and ReNovo all have regenerative properties. ReNovo has the most and a broader range of therapeutic action sinc it’s made from amniotic tissue.
IRAP and ProStride are both made from the horse’s own blood serum, with ProStride being made on the spot and IRAP requiring incubation .
The order I listed them is the from cheapest to most expensive. IRAP is around $800 To process and then a filter and injection fee, usually around $150 per dose. Cost depends on how many doses you get in a blood draw.
Prostride is around $500 per kit, single use.
I was priced a product similar to ReNovo last year for $1200, 1 dose.
A lot depends on what you’ve got going on in the stifle.
