The Democrats are really hammering on Chick-Fil-A, what the heck is y'all's problem?!!! What has Chick-Fil-A ever done to you {Democrats}?!!!

The Dems are "butt-hurt" because Chick-Fil-A pointed out the ills of homosexuality.

I love love love Chick-Fil-A, its such a treat for me and hubby to go eat there when we are in New Braunfels, Seguin dont have one And I hate that its being picked on so badly, I hope that every one on here supports Chick-Fil-A..

The Dems also don't like it because this restaurant chooses to close its doors on Sunday out of respect for the Sabbath.  Make what you will of that.  No problem having a Congresswoman who wears a hijab, is anti-Israel, believes in Sharia law (or she wouldn't wear the hijab) and disrespects our President.

I think its because they are openly homophobic. It is 2019 thats not ok. I never understood why its anyone elses business who someone loves?

They have a right to uphold their beliefs just as you do.

LOL, I know right and another good one here is on I 10 is Los Cucos by D&D, try their Fryed Stuffed Aocado with beef fajitas, its so good, lol..I dont eat it to much because of the fryed part..

From very little resarch I did because I really don't care:

The Chick-fil-A controversy stems from the millions of dollars the fast-food chain has donated to anti-LGBT and hate groups over the years, and to President Dan Cathy’s hostile remarks against marriage equality.

I'm gay.  Don't classify myself as Democrat or Republican.  We all seemed to be clumped into one group or the other with no inbetween.  For me personally, all the hate back and forth on varying opinions turns me off both parties.

And guess what?  I'm going to chic-fil-a for lunch b/c it's freakin good! :p

Pressed, or not pressed for info, even stating your beliefs when merely "asked" is not homophobic, IMO. 

For the record, I believe the vast majority of CFA's donations went to Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 2017....to the tune of around 1.6million. I'd hardly call FCA a hate group. And CFA's website clearly states that a child/student does NOT have to be a member of FCA or sign any FCA pledge to participate in the summer sports camps or programs that CFA sponsors.  

That said, if where they donate bothers a person so much, the solution is to just not eat there. Or be cool like Reece and eat there anyway, bc their sandwiches are just danged good.

Yep. Last I checked, businesses still had the right to donate to whatever groups they darn well pleased. 

Pro traditional marriage does not automatically mean anti-gay or hate groups.  That is an Obama lie, that "if you dont agree with me you are opposing me".   Most of us, including you and I land somewhere in the middle.  

As far as pressed.  Yes, they made large donations and then the press repeatedly presses them to make a public statement of what that donation means.  

Chick-Fil-A is a wonderful business that supports Christianity and will donate to Christians Organizations to help and support inner city children for sports, schooling, so my question is why is this such a bad thing to all the haters? I know that the LGBT's started alot of this mess against Chick-fil-a, what has the LBGT's donated to any of the Organizations out there? Why do they feel that they should cash in on large donations, what would be their plans be with donations, The LGBT's just dont make any sense, do they have any organizations that they donate too?

Next time if theres one in the area that you and John are going to you need to try to make a lunch date on going there just to try, I'm pretty sure you wont be sorry,, its kinda of a special treat for me, In New Braunfels the drive threw is crazy, cars lined up and now they have 2 lines that are always backed up during all hours of the day..Chick-Fil-A is a big deal there..

The mayor Ron Nirenberg of San Antoino is a big Dumb-A$$ hes part of this wanting Chick-Fil-A out of the airport, he dont like the ideal of them being closed on Sundays and that they are a Christian base organization and dont support the LBGT groups/people..

I've never eaten at one either; Sean has and he says they're great.   And I've never passed one that didn't have a LINE like Miss Roxie said!   But I'm definitely going to start eating there now for good food and to support their values.  

Got to eat there for the first time in March while I was in SLC.  It was good, and the drive up line was crazy long!  Going back to SLC next week, will have to do it again and try the peach shake!

The funny thing about the line is I feel like they can get 15 cars through their drive thru in half the time McD's can get 5 cars through.

Ever since Ovomit got into office we've been under pressure to pick a side.  What if we don't want to?  I have gay friends. They want the same things I do.  I don't understand why businesses need to pick a side. It's a lose/lose situation. They should stay out of politics completely. 

Chik-Fil-A specifically asked Texas to keep them out of it but of course the politicians ignored them. They sent the San Antonio city council a letter stating they didn’t want it politicalized, they weren’t interested in fighting with them. They didn’t want them at the airport and they were fine with that decision. 

Exactly,  good grief we're talking about a chicken sandwich here.     

Well since the mayor of San Antoino had to stick his nose in this, it just blew up and he added fuel to the haters of Chick-Fil-A, Chick-Fil-A was not even planning on putting one at the airport, LOL. they didnt even know that there was a problem happening when all this came to a head..

Oh Lord please don't get me started on McDonald's. . . I could cook a six course meal in the time it takes ours to run 5 people thru the line.   

The only line slower than McDonald's around here is Taco Bell. I'd be better off getting tacos carry out from the local fresh mex than waiting in the Taco Bell line.
