Our county fairgrounds was hit by a tornado.

We lost half of the building.

We are ok in southeastern, okla. No flooding, but lots of rain. We are blessed to have sandy soil so my arena drinks water well. The northern & western half is just to sad   Those people need lots of prayers

I'm not in the area but my mother lives in Jay, Ok.  They are doing okay, She said it was pretty rough for a couple of days. Her doctor lost the entire roof to his practice. My sister is out there also and they had some flooding. My sister in law is in Morriltion Ark. and they have a leak in the levee there and they have been trying to patch it the last couple of days. They had to move all of their equipment up on the ramps at their sand plant.  I'm just ready for it to be over. My mom said she's moving back east like all the way said she would take a hurricane over a tornado any day.  A side note its' funny now, mom has a friend named ms. Lou and she didn't want to leave her apartment with everyone else after everything was over they went back to find her she was in her closet with a baseball helmet and a pillow and she's 96. ( they didn't leave her alone in the building but went into a walkin freezer and ms lou wouldnt go with them)  But it's pretty scary when your phone is ringing off the hook and you can't do anything to help them.

It's so funny the things people do. We have a new house that is one of those metal barns our old house hasn't been tore down yet. One night I made my husband go over to the old house when we had a tornado warning. He said this house was falling down was why we built a new house.

I'm in the STL area....the flooding we are experiencing is 2nd only to the flood of 1993. But super wet weather thru the weekend is only going to make it worse and I think it was *supposed* to crest today. We are fine as we live on a hill and far enough away from flood zones but the area is a bit of a mess.

We are really dry here in SE AR; everyone irrigating crops and/or needing rain for moisture to plant.  But 45 miles away houses are literally under water   My heart is broken because that was us in 2016.  Chandler just sent me this, and of course it makes my heart happy to know there are still amazing individuals out there that care for not only the people but also the 4 legged ones that are hurting.   Arkansas thanks y'all.   Many prayers for everyone and everything being affected by this out of control weather.

It's hard to think it's dry anywhere right now. Wouldn't it be nice if we could share
