Definitely sounds like ulcers! If you treat him for it and get it cured, he should stop cribbing pretty quick. Especially if he just started. But, sometimes they will continue rto crib just out of habit, even if they no longer have ulcers. Kind of varies horse to horse...best of luck! Hopefully you get him all figured out =]
I think it's ulcers too... we turned our cows out in the pasture next to him and he is very worried about them. Plus I took him with me this weekend so I am sure that stressed him out. I really think he started this yesterday. His pen has hot wire and metal post and only a couple wood post. only the 1 post has a few marks on it.... like he just started it. I checked the post his morning after painting it last night and he hadn't touched it. I'm getting ulcer meds today from the vet. I really hope I can get this handled.
