I used it on all 3 of mine last summer and early fall. I started it for my gelding who was 17 then and seemed like he was a tad sore thru his back. Later fouond it was more saddle fit issue as he aged than soundness issue. I also had my mare that is a head shaker treated. We had great luck with the Cur-ost for the head shaker issue but still wasn't able to haul her, she would freak out in the trailer, had started that out of the blue in 2011 after being hauled since she was a yearly with no issues. Anyway, had her treated 4 times about 2 weeks apart each time and tossed her in the trailer and was able to haul over to an arena that is about 8 miles from our house, rode for about 45 minutes and hauled home again. Unfortunatley after that the young lady I had doing the treatments moved out of state and everyone else who does the treatments charges almost as much to come to the place as the treatments cost. The horses coats looked amazing and they all looked like they had back when I worked for the schools and was off of work by 3:30 and summers off, super fit looking and great recovery time. Farrier was also impressed with hoof quality.

I tried it on my Red this year. (Note that there are different PEMF machines. The gal I use has a "better" machine that you can adjust more and can go deeper into the tissues.) I think it does help him move a lot smoother with all his aches and pains. But it was also interesting that he was "happier" during his first chiro session of the year and my chiro commented on how nice he was being this time, LOL. And I told him I have been doing the PEMF and he said that's probably why. Helped keep him muscles in better shape.
The gal I use recommended doing 3 sessions in 1 week timeframe, and then roughly 1 session a month after that or as needed.
So I think the comment that my chiro made to me really solidified for me that it is helping him and I do like it.

I have had a few sessions done on my guy. I had the sessions done 2 days before each race and I do have to say, his back wasnt nearly as sore. It seemed to speed up the shedding process of the hair he was still holding onto. He LOVES the treatments and starts licking his lips as soon as he sees the lady show up with it!
