| My parents started breeding running quarter horses in 1980 or so. After almost 40 years and 5 generations later...they sold the last broodmare and retired the other 2. Naughty is the last one they had. I bought him accidentally...don’t ask. He is now 3 and just went off to be started. The guy starting him said he was really smart. Almost scary smart. So... this is Naughty. He takes living up to his name VERY seriously. He’s by A Streak Of Fling and out of a Bully Bullion daughter. The rest of the maternal side goes Royal Quick Dash, Hempen, Go Flight. All the mares are race winners and the producers of both race and barrel earners.

| And this is Thelma. For those that have been around for a long time, you might remember my daughters little mare, Vegas. My daughter bred Vegas to Azoom and Thelma is the result. Vegas and Naughty have the same dam. But Begas is by Takin On The Cash.

That’s what I’m hoping. This colt gave me goosebumps the first time I saw him. He just had that “it” factor. The guy breaking him told me he was either going to be “friggin awesome or a total handful”. I told him I was going with awesome. |

Naughty looks very nice!
Thank you! I’m super excited about him. He hit a growth spurt about 2 months ago and got HUGE. He’s probably about 15.3 and thick. |

Thanks! The kiddo grew up, got married and decided she wanted a baby out of Vegas. Since my parents retired from breeding, they let her use their syndicate share to Azoom. Sydni Blanchard’s dad bought 4 of their Azoom’s of the years and Sydni really liked them. She had one that she told me he was going to be her next NFR horse. But he started cribbing so she sold him. Anyhow, that’s why my daughter went with him on Vegas. Thelma is a super nice baby and she’s also ridiculously smart. |

Yes! And she STILL wants one. She's bound and determined to have one someday. At least she’s now her husband’s problem, lol! She’s going to start riding a zorse that some people have. He’s well broke, but sat for awhile so they are hesitant to ride him until she puts some time on him. |

Thank you. He’s a very pretty bay now. He has a really nice hip and shoulder. He’s scary athletic. This picture...he makes me cringe. His head is usually all the way under that panel to his ear. I watched him one day make a perfect form 7 rotation spin for no reason.

I’ve decided it’s THAT pen. After I took Naughty to be started, I put Rita in it. I forgot what a tank crawler she was. The water tank is now two cinder blocks high off the ground after I had to dump it and rinse 3” of mud out of the bottom. Today....she was doing that same bowing crap with her head all the way under the fence to her ear. She’s about 16.1 and weighs about 1,200 pounds. I was ready to strangle her. |

I’m actually about to do that. They need cleaned out and we just got a little garden tractor for cleaning my pens. We’re going to put wood posts in the ground to attach the panels to. Then Naughty will be getting two hot wires, high and low to hopefully curtail his destructive habits. Although Scruti isn’t much better. She’s now bent TWO panels from leaning on them. But she hasn’t fully destroyed them like Naughty did. |
