I recently had my horse dx w/arthritis in his C6 C7 vertebrae. He was obviously having issues so they did x rays to dx it. He was not lifting his head very high & had a hard time loading in the trailer due to not lifting his head nor his feet very high. My trailer is low, & he never before had problems. He was injected w/steriods. Really helped.. for a while. In doing more research I came up w/this... VERY interesting: https://thehorsesback.com/c6-c7-malformation/?fbclid=IwAR2nde2KQCw4txDzAzwYgbrD1jFtdzVX5RpQeSKSXNqDu4eehVxbq5UpFf8 . I had not heard of it before so thought I would share it. Pic is of his injection site.. ultrasound guidance was used. There is a great fb page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/thehorsesbackblog/?multi_permalinks=2309946859277738¬if_id=1559749648970034¬if_t=group_highlights
