For all of us horse people that live in humid states & get green crap growing on our tack, I have a product for you. It's called Damp Rid. It's a humidity product that you can put in a small room & it sucks the moisture out of the air. I got the hanger one & it is working in our bathroom. The master bath we built as a storm safe room, so there are no window's. I hung one of the damp rid hanger thingy's in the walk in closet & I am seeing water in the bag. I hung one in my tack room, but haven't checked it yet. I'm sure it is working. Anyway go to www.damprid.com & check out their products

Works EXTREMELY well in my tack area of the horse trailer AND in my shed that I use for a tack/feed room, love Damp Rid! I bought a large bucket of it they have at ACE hardware and keep it in both places. My tack was trying to get moldy in my trailer with all the humidity and rain.. I put one of the damp rid buckets in there and it fixed the issue, same in my shed. Its cheap and very effective!

Lowe's has many sizes of dehumidifiers. Because of flooding in our basement during this horrible year of wet weather, I bought two that are not very big at $200 each. It's amazing how much moisture they draw out of the air.

I also keep a bucket of damp rid in the tack room. I was late getting it out this year and everything got fuzzy. Wiped it down with vinegar and put out damp ride.

im too cheap to buy a dehumidifier for 150sqft.
I love lavender so I always try to buy it lavender scented when I can. I get compliments on how nice everything smells when people walk in lol!

My mangers have a tiny leak in them, so when we get the torential downpours moisture leaks in. I ordered some from Amazon. Hopefully they work as good as everyone said.

I love Damp Rid for inside the tack area of my horse trailer and in a small closet in my house that for some reason gets musty. But my tack room is too large and so I got a dehumidifier. It's wonderful not to worry about everything getting moldy.
