Location: NC | Who does everyone like/dislike for equine insurance? My older 2 horses have never had insurance but I was thinking about it for the yearling (because we know baby horses are walking accidents sometimes). I’ve talked to a vet locally about who she’s used but figured I’d also ask on here. |

Location: Kansas | I went through a local gal, and for mortaility for all three of my horses (2 month old colt included), plus loss of use on my 2 year old when she starts competing it was $340 per year |

| I got ins for my fut mare from Rosie Bradley. She got me a wonderful quote. Abbie is covered for everything & is insured for $25,000. That's what she is worth & some ins companies won't insure a prospect for that much, but Rosie knew Abbies worth & got her ins for that price. She was wonderful to work with & her being the horse woman she is, she knows the buisness. |

Location: Texas | http://www.broadstoneequine.com I went with them after a recommendation from someone on this board. They have lots of options to choose from. I have one insured for $5,000 mortality, $5,000 major medical for $361 a year. |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | I recently decided to insure a horse through Wilkens in NE. I had some other horses insured through them as well. No complaints. Their rate was good too. 3.25/thousand. |
