| I fed exceed 6 way in the past, I didn’t really see a difference. Ours have all bloomed on Platinum. We just feed the regular version, not the joint version. We don’t have anything in the barn that requires extra joint maintenance today, but if I really felt I needed a feed through joint I’d probably sell a kidney and use the Platinum CJ, just because we’ve been so impressed with the original formula. For the record - I no longer have the horse I fed the MVP to, never had him on Platinum so I can’t provide that kind of comparison. This was the first horse we put on Platinum. Coat condition aside since these are far from the best pictures - he started filling out beautifully. This was roughly 3 weeks apart and he was being worked right along.

| I liked the MVP! I ended up switching to Mag-Max and I love it! Very palatable and I like the results I see! I will try to attach some pictures.

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I like the MVP such a good product and very affordable with great results.. But to me a good diet is a must, the only reason I'm feeding MVP right now is I have a IR gelding and hes on the MVP Anti-Carb, I have used other products of theirs and always have great results, the other horses get Quiessence since they are out on pasture all day and come in at night so I like this supplement as it helps with the grass intake as in wont build up on to much sugar while out on pasture during the day. But to me to have a good healthy shiny coat is going to come from a good diet. |

Location: Kansas / South Dakota | Not to steal your post, but hopefully add to the discussion - For years I've just heard how expensive PP is. That's why I've never even looked at it! I was just comparing the original Platinum Performance ($63/68 servings) to Exceed 6-Way ($193.75/64 servings), and PP actually appears to be quite a bit cheaper per serving? Am I missing something?? |

Well I think when you switch to an all inclusive supplement like MVP you take away the cost of having to supplement 3 or 4 different types of supplements so it "should " cut your cost. I've never fed the MVP so I really cant say if I liked it or not, but I have fed the Platinum (regular wellness formula) for a while and I really thought it made my horses look fantastic, good feet and easy to keep. I recently switched over to Buckeye Gro n Win ration balancer so I didnt need the platinum anymore. But if for any reason I decide to go away from the Gro n Win, I'd definitely go back to the Platinum, its definitely not as expensive as it comes across, I was only feeding 1 scoop per day instead of 2 and they did great. I never tried the Platinum CJ because it's just way too expensive for me and I've always read feed thru joint is hit or miss effectiveness |

The Platinum CJ formula would be the formula most comparable to the Exceed 6-Way, which is $151 for the 58 serving(29 days) $151/29 = $5.21 per day.
Exceed 6-Way $193.75/64 = $3.03 per day

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | OK, since evrybody is showing off thier horses, lol, I'll chime in too , the brown gelding hes on good diet and MVP {Anti-carb}, the bay hes on a good diet and pasture turn out all day and the sorrel is on the same diet as the bay and they are pasture mates, these are the two that get Quiessece daily with the little bit of feed they get in the AM and PM, I dont brush on them hardly at all and they have a good healthy coat with a good healthy diet. I have other horse that are in the back pasture and they get just a bit of feed in the mornings so that they will come up and I can look them over every day to make sure they are ok and they look just as good as the horses that get pampered, lol.

| Well to be honest, I fed mvp's gastroplex for quite awhile with nothing noticably different in either horse, and then I tried Nsync for muscle issues, I fed that from begining of April until now when my bucket ran out and I won't be ordering that again either. I guess each horse is different though |

Location: GODS country | Platinum Performance hands down (proven research and results)! We started feeding it in 2006 and never looked back. I only feed 1 scoop of the original a day and they all have great bloom/shiney coats and feel great! I'm not a firm believer in feed-through joint support, however, the platinum joint support is superior!

This is my mare. I give nothing special. Just good grass hay and Tribute Kalm Ultra and free choice salt/ mineral. She wasn't even fully shed out in this pic as this was mid April in PA. Personally I will only add a joint supplement. I only give other supplements if the horse is telling me it needs something extra. Overall, a good diet without the extras is better for them. Now if you are running the s**t out of them then thats way different. |

I agree.....less is more! In fact, I don't grain my horses at all. Ours are on pasture and/or grass hay depending on time of year, alfalfa and Platinum Performance. We've had ZERO health/joint/coat issues! |

Location: Willows, CA | Anyone who has read my articles, or been to my clinics has heard me say “ We feed horses into trouble, then try to supplement them out of it.” I think most supplements on the market have limited value. But, both here may be the exception if your horses are still on a grain based feed in their diet. If that is the case, I have probably seen better response from Platinum. Both are good companies that actually put what they say into their products. |
