Anyone know who has great room rates during NFR? I thought MGM Grand would but not seeing any specials.

I usually book super early. I think I booked mine clear back in March. I’m at Excalibur. Not the nicest, but I really only need a place to sleep and shower :

Check out Treasure Island. We stayed there a few years ago and our room was ridiculously cheap and had a really nice room!

We went two years ago and the best rates we found on the strip was Excalibur. As others said it isn't super luxurious but nice enough.

Check out Hard Rock. It's my fave and close to the Convention Center and T&M.

We like staying at the Golden Nugget on Freemont Street.  We don't gamble much and if you do the tables are cheaper then on the strip.  Freemont Street has activities and the people watching is out of this world

I can't speak for the rooms, but when we visited it was run down looking with kids EVERYWHERE.

The Mirage is wonderful, but can be pricey.  We stayed there in 2017 during the NFR and were lucky enough to get a nice room for around $115/night, but we also booked direct from the site in early July.  We went this past May, and the cheapest we could get a room (in Feb) was $250/night, so we stayed at the Luxor.  It was.....okay.  $70/night.  It wasn't dirty, but the A/C never really got the room cold.  The elevators also move at an angle there, which was very weird.

We are staying at the South Point this year, since we will be there for the WSTR Finale.

I really, really want to stay on Fremont sometime.  That is my favorite part of Vegas.  I love to walk around with a Crown and Sprite and people watch LOL.

I stayed there a few years ago and wasn’t bad. Never in the room very long. Price was right. To me all the rooms are about the same no matter where you stay.

Yes! Whole-heartedly agree. I am not much of a gambler but one night we were in one of the other hotels on Fremont playing BlackJack on the $5 table. I won over $200! The dealers are really helpful and no one is serious at the $5 tables. If they are I quickly run them off with imy gnorance of the game. We have met such nice, fun people at the Blackjack tables. On Fremont street the hotels seem much less smoky and I love getting up early, and  going to the Starbuck’s for coffee and watching the walks of shame! And at night they have street dances with good bands and the people watching is unmatched! Some people don’t really have clothes on - the banana suit guy is hilariously stomach turning!

The New Orleans has good rates. Weekends they always raise the rate.  Lots of activity with the All in Barrel Race.  They have shuttles to NFR. They also have live NFR viewing party with Justin Rumford.  Great time and lots of fun!!

Vegas.com will show you some good rates and they rotate around. We just booked 3 nights at the Flamingo for $234.
