Can someone tell me how a ram 2500 pulls with coil springs? The ram 3500 has actual leaf springs.  My fiance has a 1500 ram with coils and it pulled a 20 foot bumper pull empty cargo trailer very poorly compared to our buddy's Chevy 1500 due to Rams having coil springs in their half tons versus chevys half ton having leaf springs.... So my question is how about 2500 ram that also have coil springs?? We are looking to upgrade our f250 to a ram but worried about the ram 2500 coils and would regret not going with a ram 3500 that actually has leaf springs... We pull a smaller trailer gooseneck.. 25 foot, 3 horse with only a 8 ft short wall.  Thoughts?

i pull with a 2018 2500, and it does great. i have a 4 h with 10' lq it pulls fine, use it to haul hay, equipment, no issues. as far as pulling it has more power than our 3500.

We traded our 2006 Dodge Dually for a new 2018 Dodge Ram Longhorn edition. We are loving it! It rides like a luxury car (not kidding!!!) & pulls better than the dually did....but must say we haven't really loaded it down yet.
