| The sire to my yearling filly was recently enrolled in Future Fortunes. What I know about the program sounds great, however, there are only minimal shows in MN that are sanctioned. Can someone tell me as the horse owner/rider the pros/cons to enrolling your horse, and how show producers sanction their shows FF (I'm curious if it is tough to get -- and how we can grow the program locally). |

| Pros - 1 time fee, the sooner you do it the less it is. Horse is enrolled for life. IMO, it’s a nice perk when/if you sell the horse. there are now 2-3 bigger races here in Iowa that have $10,000 added future fortunes. No additional entry fee. I don’t personally see any cons to it. |

Location: Iowa | I do not see any cons to it either. One-time fee and the horse is enrolled for life. I think it helps the resale of the horse. I live in Northwest Iowa and there are Future Fortune shows in Verndale, Winona, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Huron with NO entry fee. Is it a money maker, probably not, but definently a perk. |
