...I posted daily updates on halter breaking her and her first few rides.....
Anyway shes 9 now and I finaly found the time to get her going on barrels this summer. Shes pretty good! I bet she will be placing by the end of winter if I keep going. Shes been to 2 jackots, 1 rodeo and 4 gymkhana.
And her bum grew a lot hehe.
I just wanted to share because shes awesome and I'm acatualy having fun with barrel racing again.

I know I did the math this spring and said o God.. I better get going on barrels before shes at retirement age LOL. The one nice thing though with her being fully grown and so broke we could just go after it and start entering.
Her first jackpot at the warm up was acatually the first time I loped the entire pattern on her, I just had one barrel in a field to pattern with but I think we did all right!

You need to post that picture of her as a 2 year old when you were halter breaking her.

I wounder if that old thread could be dug up, I tried to put a lot of good info and explination in it. It was lots of work to get her halter broke so late in life but sooo worth it.
